简介：特别编“AIR in Summer”于2005年8月28日和9月4日于BS-i放映。 AIR “Summer”编的故事在2005年1月6日的版本中已经包含，“Summer”编动画故事内容长度比游戏的故事短了很多，其中多半是被删减或压缩。由于播出时大受欢迎，而决定推出特别编“AIR in Summer”填补原电视动画版的空间。 故事是在原TV版第8话中段开始接轨，加插了大量柳也、神奈和里叶出发去寻找妈妈的旅途中所发生的事情。该OVA包含了游戏Summer篇涵盖所有的内容（Summer篇本身为单线无选择），有认为该部分表现力比之游戏原作更为精彩，为整部动画添色不少。
